Description
Sorid Ointment is a prescription topical treatment containing calcipotriol, a vitamin D analogue, and betamethasone dipropionate, a potent corticosteroid.
Calcipotriol helps regulate the excessive skin-cell growth associated with psoriasis, while betamethasone dipropionate reduces inflammation, redness and itching. The combination is used for stable plaque psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris) in adults when topical treatment is appropriate.
Sorid should be applied only to the affected psoriasis areas and should not be used for unexplained rashes or skin infections without medical assessment.
